This project addresses the need to modernize public transportation infrastructure and offers a range of essential facilities for the efficient and sustainable operation of electric buses. The depot is located in Chitila, Ilfov County, on a 14,643 sqm plot that had significant slopes and required substantial earthworks to be prepared for construction.

• Battery charging: The depot will be equipped with fast and slow charging stations for electric buses, ensuring full battery charging.
• Security: Buses will be protected overnight, benefiting from a video surveillance system and controlled access.
• Maintenance and service: A dedicated area for technical inspections, maintenance, and repairs will be created, optimized for quick and efficient service.
• Bus washing facility: The project includes a building dedicated to bus washing, equipped with modern wastewater collection and treatment systems.
• Operations and dispatch: Administrative offices and dispatch rooms will be integrated to efficiently manage routes and schedules.

• Roadways and secondary paths for bus and staff vehicle access.
• Utility zones for fire-fighting systems, recycling tanks, and other technical equipment.
• Maintenance building: A constructed area of 571.5 sqm, providing space for parking and charging 4 buses.
• Administrative and dispatch building: An area of 531.58 sqm, including offices, reception, meeting rooms, locker rooms, and workshops.
• Washing facility: An area of 273.20 sqm, with two washing bays for buses and corresponding equipment.
• Outdoor charging area: 34 bays covered with metal canopies and 4 additional bays in the northern part of the plot.
• Video surveillance system and controlled access through a gate control cabin.
