Our company has launched a complex project to consolidate, mansard, and reconfigure the headquarters of the “Barbu Catargiu” Emergency Situations Inspectorate and the Slobozia Fire Department. This investment aims to improve the existing infrastructure, optimize workspaces, and provide modern conditions for specific operational activities.
Project dimensions:
- Final building height: Ground Floor + 1 Floor + Mansard (P+1E+M)
- Built area: 1,822 sqm
- Total developed area: 2,937.8 sqm
Main Works:
Structural Consolidation
- The reinforced concrete foundations will be strengthened with additional layers and monolithic concrete diaphragms.
- Load-bearing masonry walls will be reinforced with welded mesh and shotcrete.
- Floor slabs will be stiffened with additional concrete layers and anchoring.
Extension and Functional Reconfiguration
- The building will be mansarded, expanding by approximately 50% compared to the original area.
- Additional office spaces, a control room, conference rooms, and technical rooms will be arranged.
- The internal layout will be improved through recompartmentalization to create efficient functional workflows.
Modernization of Installations and Energy Efficiency Improvements
- Complete refurbishment of electrical, heating, and plumbing installations.
- Installation of a centralized VRF air conditioning system and a ventilation system with heat recovery.
- Implementation of an efficient heating system, using a new boiler and solar panels for hot water production.
- Application of a high-performance thermal insulation system to reduce energy losses.
Safety and Security Enhancements
- Construction of a 25-meter communication tower, equipped with antennas for radio connections.
- Installation of a modern fire detection and alarm system.
- Optimization of evacuation routes, including a new elevator for easy access to the mansard level.
