We are proud to announce the successful completion of a landmark project in our portfolio: the total reconstruction of the Police Station 9 Headquarters in Bucharest. Total Developed Area: 2,459.28 sqm

Height Regime: UG+G+4F

Capacity: 300 Officers

Structural Class: Importance Class I (Critical Infrastructure)

The project involved the complete demolition of an aging, structurally compromised facility and the construction of a brand-new, state-of-the-art administrative building. Designed to accommodate a total of 300 personnel, the new headquarters stands as a robust Basement + Ground Floor + 4 Floors structure with a total built area of approximately 2,460 sqm.

Engineering and Architectural Excellence

Built to the highest safety standards (Importance Class I), the building features a reinforced concrete frame structure with a “rigid box” type infrastructure and a general raft foundation to ensure maximum seismic stability.

The architectural vision combines functionality with a contemporary aesthetic:

Modern Façade: The building features a curtain wall system with low-E reflective glass on the north side and integrated sunshades on other elevations to optimize thermal efficiency and natural light.

Premium Finishes: Public and high-traffic areas are finished with natural stone (brushed and flamed andesite), while office spaces utilize technological raised floors with anti-static carpeting for flexible cable management.

Representative Interiors: Special interior elements include HPL cladding in ash wood finish and satin stainless steel protections, creating a professional and welcoming environment.

A Functional and High-Tech Interior

Each level was meticulously planned to support the specific needs of modern police work:

  • Basement & Security: Provides a secure underground parking facility for 26 vehicles, alongside technical spaces, archives, and high-capacity water reserves for fire safety.

Ground Floor (Public Services): Dedicated to citizen interaction, including a spacious waiting room, registrar’s office, psychological cabinet, and specialized rooms for questioning and fingerprinting.

Floors 1-3 (Operations & Administration): These floors house the core administrative activities, including specialized offices for Public Order, Criminal Investigation, and Criminalistics, along with meeting rooms and secretariats.

Top Floor (Staff Wellbeing): The 4th floor is entirely dedicated to the personnel, featuring a fitness center, locker rooms, a cafeteria with a dining hall, and a protected terrace.

Commitment to Quality and Sustainability

Equipped with modern VRV climate control systems, automated LED lighting, and high-performance insulation, the building is designed for long-term energy efficiency. This project underscores our company’s ability to deliver complex, high-importance infrastructure that serves the community and its protectors.
